Brief Description:
Course starts and finishes on the beautiful campus of Furman University. Race day registration is available. Cotton t-shirts given to every participant. Cash prizes for overall male and female winners. Food and refreshments will be provided at the end of the event for the participants.

$25 - day of the event

T-shirts:
Short-sleeve 100% cotton t-shirts available for pre-registrants. T-shirts available on the day of the race, while they last, to race day registrants.

Course Description:
This flat, scenic course meanders through the Furman University campus with a portion of the course taking place around the lake at Furman.

Awards:
Top 3 Runners Overall, Male/Female, receive price money (1st Place $75, 2nd Place $50, 3rd Place $25)*. Trophy Awards are given to the Top 3 Runners in each age category. The ceremony starts after the completion of the race. The age categories are: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

* Top 3 Runners Overall are not eligible for Age Awards.

Registration:
Participants may pre-register; race day registration is also available. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Race day registration begins at 8am. Race numbers & packets (if available) will be issued at this time.

Packet Pick-Up:
Saturday, October 4, 8am-9am at the Furman University in the Paladin Stadium. All pre-registered runners and walkers will receive a packet.

Proceeds to Benefit:
Proceeds will benefit the International Dyslexia Association - South Carolina Branch. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The purpose of the IDA is to pursue and provide the most comprehensive range of information and services that address the full scope of dyslexia and related difficulties in learning to read and write.
